Trigger Point Therapy for Deep Tissue Care of Low Back, Shoulder, hand and Facial (TMJ) Dysfunction

This class is designed for beginning to advanced massage therapists. In this 12-hour training, you will learn about fascia and take a journey into the human structure that will support you and your client's understanding of how trigger point therapy decreases pain and muscle dysfunction. We will discuss the embryology of fascia, learn new massage techniques, and increase your awareness of where trigger points are located. We will focus on sciatica by treating the sacral plexus/lumbar musculature, frozen shoulder by treating the brachial plexus/shoulder musculature, carpal tunnel syndrome and facial (TMJ) with a deep dive into the anatomy of these areas.

Four additional hours have been added to the curriculum, which completes your 12 CEU’s in massage requirements for the State of New Mexico Massage License. Numerous clients and therapists have inquired about treating chronci headache pain, TMJ, and Tinnitus. This course will provide instruction and guidance on managing these conditions.
